Terms and Conditions
These are interim terms, and they are not the final ones.
Pour has not launched. These terms cover only this website and the browser prototype on it. The final, complete terms and conditions will be written and published when Pour is released on the Apple App Store and Google Play, because the app will involve accounts, user-created content and a community feed that this website does not. Until then, what follows governs your use of this site.
The short version
- This is a preview site. There is no product to buy and nothing to sign up for beyond an email.
- The prototype is a demonstration. It may change, break, or disappear without notice.
- Recipes are for information. Drink responsibly, and only if you are of legal drinking age.
- Do not rely on the prototype's allergy filter. It is a demo. Always check ingredients yourself.
- The Pour name, writing, design and artwork belong to Abhishek Paatni.
1. Who you are agreeing with
This site is operated by Abhishek Paatni, an individual based in India. "We" and "us" mean him. "You" means you. Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What this site is
A pre-launch page for an app that has not been released, plus a working prototype you can try in your browser. Nothing here is a product for sale. Nothing here is an offer, a contract, or a promise that Pour will ship, ship on any particular date, or contain any particular feature. Plans change, and this one may.
3. The prototype
The prototype is provided for demonstration as is. It runs entirely in your browser, holds nothing on our servers, and its data lives on your own device. It may be changed, taken down, or replaced at any time, and anything you create inside it may be lost. Do not treat it as storage for anything you care about.
4. Drinks, recipes and your safety
Recipes, measurements and suggestions shown on this site or in the prototype are provided for general information only. They are not professional, medical, dietary or nutritional advice.
- Alcohol. Some drinks contain alcohol. Only prepare or consume them if you are at or above the legal drinking age where you are, and it is your responsibility to know what that is. Please drink responsibly, and never drive after drinking.
- Allergies and intolerances. The finished app is designed to exclude ingredients you flag, but the prototype is a demonstration and must not be relied on for safety. Always read the ingredients of a drink yourself before making or drinking it. If you have a serious allergy, check with a medical professional. We accept no liability for any reaction.
- Caffeine. Coffee recipes are informational. Know your own tolerance.
5. Email you send us
The early access box drafts a message in your own mail app. Sending it is your choice. If you send it, we will use your address to tell you once, when Pour launches. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not guarantee any particular launch date, or that a launch will happen at all.
6. Intellectual property
The name Pour, the wordmark, the writing, the visual design, the drink artwork and the prototype are owned by Abhishek Paatni. You may read the site, use the prototype, and share links to it. You may not copy the design or artwork, pass the work off as your own, or use the Pour name in a way that suggests endorsement, without written permission.
The typeface is Schibsted Grotesk, used under the SIL Open Font License.
Quoting the site with attribution and a link is welcome, including by search engines and AI assistants.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site;
- scrape it in a way that degrades it for anyone else;
- republish it as your own;
- use it for anything unlawful.
8. Third-party links
This site links to other places, including the founder's Instagram profile and our hosts' policies. We are not responsible for their content or their terms.
9. No warranty
The site and the prototype are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or available at any given moment.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or the prototype, including lost data or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. The full rewrite happens at app launch, as explained at the top of this page.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights you have under your own local law.
